Most real estate agencies require you to sign an Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement giving them the exclusive right to sell your house and earn a commission, even if YOU are the one who finds the buyer. At Equi-MAX Realty, we believe that a real estate commission should only be paid if a real estate agent brings you a qualified buyer. Along with being listed in the MLS, we give you the option to sell your house "For Sale by Owner" and pay no commission if you find your own buyer! If you'd like to reserve the right to sell your house yourself, instead of signing an Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement, you'll sign an Exclusive Agency Agreement; this way you can market your house with your own ads, hold your own open houses, and be proactive in finding a buyer.

The only restrictions we have are that there cannot be a For Sale by Owner sign in the yard, and no For Sale by Owner literature can be available to prospective buyers that Realtors show the house to. Other than that, you are free to do any marketing and advertising that you wish.

With our For Sale by Owner (FSBO) option, plus our full service MLS plans, you'll get the most exposure to help you get your house SOLD as quickly as possible!
